The front of this quilt is pieced with a rainbow of cotton fabric in a trip around the world pattern. The fabric is from The Hungry Caterpillar line by Andover Fabrics. The back fabric is a solid turquoise color by Kona. For the batting I choose a 80% cotton 20% polyester quilters batting that allows for a long life of washing and love. This quilt was quilted on a long-arm machine in a stitch in the ditch pattern. I bound the quilt in a matching turquoise cotton fabric. It was machine quilted to the front then turned and machine stitched to the back for a durable finish.
This is a warm and lightweight quality quilt that will definitely become a favorite in your home. The finished quilt measures 36” x 46”. Perfect size for a crib or toddler bed. Machine wash warm. Hang or tumble dry.
