This fun light weight floral blanket is a great gift for that summer baby and will be a great addition to a little girls nursery. A blanket that she is sure to love for years to come.
The front of this quilt is pieced with a variety of cotton fabrics in florals and solids in a trip around the world pattern. The back fabric is a solid cream color. For the batting I choose a 80% cotton 20% polyester quilters batting that allows for a long life of washing and love. This quilt was quilted on a long-arm machine in a stitch in the ditch pattern. I bound the quilt in a matching pink floral cotton fabric. It was machine quilted to the front then turned and machine stitched to the back for a durable finish.
This is a warm and lightweight quality quilt that will definitely become a favorite in your home. The finished quilt measures 29”x 39”. Perfect size for a crib or toddler bed. Machine wash warm. Hang or tumble dry.
