The front of this quilt is pieced with a variety of cotton fabric from the Heartland Lugna Meadows line from Art Gallery Fabrics. The back fabric is a solid Kona color. For the batting I choose a 80% cotton 20% polyester quilters batting that allows for a long life of washing and love. This quilt was quilted on a sewing machine in a straight stitch pattern. I bound the quilt in a matching yellow cotton fabric. It was machine quilted to the front then turned and machine stitched to the back for a durable finish.
This is a warm and lightweight quality quilt that will definitely become a favorite in your home. The finished quilt measures 35” x 45”. Perfect size for a crib or toddler bed. Machine wash warm. Hang or tumble dry.
