This cuddle soft silky blanket is a great addition to your little boys nursery. It is over-sized so he will have plenty of years to enjoy it.
For the back it has an ultra cuddle minky fabric from Shannon Fabrics. It is Robert Kaufman Speedster design minky that features a gray race car design. The fabric is so cuddly you will love to snuggle your little one in and take a nap. The front is a silky tricot fabric in a solid black color. For the batting I choose a 80% cotton 20% polyester quilters batting that allows for a long life of washing and love. This quilt was quilted on a long-arm machine in a smoke pattern. I bound the quilt in white cotton quilters fabric. It was machine quilted to the front then turned and hand stitched to the back.
This is a warm and lightweight quality quilt that will definitely become a favorite in your home. The finished quilt measures 50” x 57”. It is over-sized for a crib or toddler bed. Machine wash warm. Hang/lay flat to dry or tumle dry on low. Because of the Tricot material used in this quilt it can not be dried with heat.
